Intro
Diced chicken skateboarding was created by two brothers, Nils and Kjell, who have been skating and training martial arts together all their lives. Diced Chicken has developed into something worth much more than a company, namely a family of like minded friends. The label’s heart is expressed in the slogan “Destroyed Fear”, which is the back bone and mentality of those involved, no matter if skateboarding, martial arts, drawing, or any other form of expression.

Skateboarding
Diced chicken rider Kjell Schnack started skateboarding in Ireland as a hobby to share with his brother. Even though winning the amateur nationals several times, competition was never his interest. His fascination is centred more around being a part of the growing youth which is destined to represent humanity and our evolution. Adrenalin and the courage to overcome fears of dangerous situations is also one of his favourite aspects of skateboarding. And of course he enjoys skating the modern architecture and damaging government property, together with the diced chicken family.

Designs for “Diced Chicken”
The Companies logo “The Fearless Eagle” is the final stage of the metamorphoses from the chicken to the eagle which in traditional symbolism is the Scorpio-serpent-eagle transformation.
The designs consist of the skateboarding, the martial art and art range. All art and logos are produced by Kjell Schnack. The designs are being released on clothing, decks and Shoes. The winged shoe of Pazuzu is one of the art shoes exhibited by the “Sneaker Pimps” around the globe, including the States, Asia, Australia, North America and Europe.

Technique of drawing
Kjell uses only a HB lead pencil on A4 sheets of fine-grained paper with no applying of erasers, leaving no room for error. Thousands of single, different pressured strokes beside each other form a shape. One of these drawings can occupy over 300 drawing hours. This “Black Lead” technique is unique because all commercially known techniques (that contain such a level of detail) indulge in smudging and/or white chalk or ink, which is a short cut to detail and produces a different type of colour to the lead pencil and white paper.

Art Topic
The works are produced in the mental state of automatic drawing, which creates drawings potent for interpretation. This process of producing art and poetry is more commonly known as spiritual channelling. These works of art are not produced to shock or break taboos -often seen in the art and rock scene- but are a body of complex symbolism that contains a wealth of philosophy and a unique point of view, which is expressed in the 7 parables of the Blacklead prophesy. It’s more a reawakening of the Viking era, than a religious centric dogma.
